Hormone Replacement Can Return Menopausal Women to a Happy and Healthy Love Life!

Menopause Treatment West Palm Beach FLHormone Replacement Therapy can help alleviate the sexual health issues that are faced by menopausal and perimenopausal women.

A new poll has found that, unfortunately, the majority of menopausal women surveyed say that they stop having sex during menopause.

The polling, which was carried out exclusively for The Independent, also discovered around a quarter of women live in fear that their partner will separate or divorce them due to the detrimental impact menopause has on their sex drive and ability to perform sexually.

The news site, which polled 534 women in the UK who were aged 40 and older, found 65 percent of women said that being menopausal has impacted their marriage. Two-thirds of women said they do not think their spouse or partner properly grasps the physical, mental and emotional repercussions that menopause causes.

Furthermore, the study found that almost half of the women surveyed believed their relationship could have been rescued if they had access to better help for women struggling with symptoms of menopause.

Fortunately, here in the States, it does not have to be that way. The numbers here of women’s sex lives being negatively impacted by the hormonal imbalance that comes with menopause are probably just as high as they are in the UK.

The big difference here is that women in the US have a lot more options and easier access to hormone replacement therapy. Doctors here recognize that there is no shame in menopausal women and post-menopausal women enjoying a happy and satisfying sex life for as long as they are healthy enough to participate in sexual activity.

Medical professionals in the US, like those at Hormone Logics, understand how to use hormone replacement to decrease vaginal dryness and lack of libido, and other symptoms that could be described as “Female Sexual Dysfunction” that often interferes with sex during menopause.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Could Improve Your Sex Life

Bioidentical hormones (estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone) can be a safe and effective way to treat perimenopause and symptoms of menopause, including those such as lack of libido, vaginal dryness, and other sexual health issues that accompany menopause.

Bioidentical hormones may be delivered in several forms depending on your needs and lifestyle. Which bioidentical hormones you are prescribed depends on how old you are, if you are a man or a woman, of course, how you are feeling, and what problems you are experiencing.

You may need a prescription for bioidentical progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, growth hormone, or any combination thereof. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy has become the preferred treatment for women who are suffering from the symptoms of menopause.

Bioidentical hormones are still approved for use by the FDA, even though they are usually made by compounding pharmacists.

Bioidentical Hormone Therapy for All Menopausal Symptoms

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is not just for treating the female sexual dysfunction that occurs during menopause. Hormone replacement can help alleviate any and all of your menopausal symptoms.

Which bioidentical hormones you are prescribed depends on how low your hormones are, what stage of menopause you are in, and of course, how you are feeling and the nature of the symptoms you are experiencing.
